[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide employee benefits brokerage consulting services to the government authority located in Benton, AR.
- Assisting the city in administering all group insurance plans, responding to questions from and providing information to staff, and providing other consulting services during the course of the plan year
- Researching and advising the city of any new developments in the law and employee benefit programs on an ongoing basis
- Reviewing claims experience, claim service, and claim administration to ensure maximum benefit to the city
- Representing the city in all negotiations with providers on all issues including those related to premiums, benefit levels, plan design, and special terms and conditions
- Evaluate bids and bidders, including administration, claim payment procedures, customer service, network, reserve establishment policies, financial soundness, and identifying the most cost-beneficial package from among the various bidders
- Providing consulting and technical support, as available, to implement an online benefits open enrolment service to employees
(2) All question must be submitted no later than May 28, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for one year.
