[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide commercial insurance broker services to the government authority located in Little Rock, AR.
- Provide information and recommendations regarding the appropriate types of insurance, levels of
coverage necessary to protect the members and reasonable risks, and make recommendations on any other coverage specifications.
- Analyse existing coverage and identify or develop cost-saving alternative benefit strategies and plans
- Conduct market research to determine the best value for insurance needs
- Provide, maintain and update comparison reports of other public and private companies benefit plan offerings and costs to determine their competitiveness with programs.
- Evaluate bids and bidders, including administration, claim payment procedures, customer service, network, reserve establishment policies, financial soundness, and identify the most cost-beneficial
package from among the various bidders
- Review and make cost-saving recommendations regarding the modification of plan design, benefit levels, premiums, communications and quality of current employee benefit plans
- Alert and assist in complying with legislative mandates related to employee benefits by ensuring
that programs are compliance with local, state, and federal legislation
- Have direct operational duties for overseeing all policy matters, including, but not limited to, issuing certificates of insurance, verifying rates and premiums, checking policy working and accuracy,
developing special policy working, as needed, and answering coverage questions.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than March 22, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for two years.
