Vendor needs to provide solid waste and recycling services to the government authority located in Bentonville, AR.– Prepare outline of issues regarding current bidding situation for presentation to the Mayor, Council. solid waste advisory committee and public.– Present recommendations and potential strategies to address service, personnel issues, fluctuating fuel and other prices, etc. The consultant should provide areas where the modification of services may provide for additional competing bids and lower costs in providing these services.– Assist in the review of bid submissions to determine adherence with bid requirements, an investigation of responses provided by each bidder and the preparation of a report on relevant findings.– Assist in the preparation of responses to the Pre–Bid Meeting and prepare any addenda as required.
