[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide re-wiring network cable service to install and connect additional above-group fiber splice boxes, creating a connection path through the West side of campus which helps build towards connection redundancy to the government authority located in Russellville, AR.
• Parts, tools, labor, and materials to create concrete enclosure pedestals with two 4” conduit connecting to nearby ground vault
• Parts, tools, labor, and materials to install new 2 x 4” conduit path between two existing ground vaults and handholds
• Tools and labor to run 24-strand fiber through conduit and into splice boxes
• Parts, tools, labor, and materials to add Trace safe cable to any conduit part of this project that does not already have a Trace safe cable present along the run
• Tools and labor to fusion splice, certify, and label single mode fiber
• Parts, labor, and materials to add pull tape to leave in conduit with new pulls for future use
• Installation of three Multilink splice box including concrete pedestal and installation of two 4” conduit to nearest ground vault and handhold
• Creation of new conduit path using two 4” conduits between existing ground vaults/handholds next to the M-Street Residence Hall (see below)
• Installation of fiber in conduit between new spice hubs as well as connecting two of the new splice boxes to two of the existing splice boxes
• Installation of Trace-Safe cable in any conduit path where a fiber installation is occurring if the path does not already have a Trace-Safe cable. Trace-safe cabling should be terminated with a Trace-Safe termination block at each ground vault and handhold along the run and the termination block attached to the inside of the vault at an accessible space near the top
• Labeling of fiber run in each ground vault and handhold utilizing water proof tags
• Fusion termination, labeling, and certification of each fiber strand into Multilink CTX modules in each splice box.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 23, 2022
