[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide cloud-based budget and forecasting system that will be able to respond to the dynamic budgeting and reforecasting needs of both HQ and programs, cater to multiple currencies, integrate with our current systems and better position for reporting requirements, strategic decisions and a timelier budgeting processing that will be of assistance in various outlets throughout the organization.
- Multi-year, currency, language. Ability to see budget rates for translation to and from USD. Ability to see and aggregate budgets in donor currency, local functional currency and USD.
- Approval workflow and audit trails, access controls and restricted viewing - varying workflows, approvals and budget templates based on the department.
- Excel like appearance with an ability to export into multiple formats.
- Ability to manage customized budget periods, projects - time frame, country office fiscal year, annual, quarterly, monthly, or customized budget periods.
- Ability to define budgets at any level of the account structure (such as head account).
- Capability of automatically generating a new budget from figures in a previous time period's budget multiplied (or divided) by a cost multiplier representing expected growth factors or increases (or decreases).
- Ability to attach and store planning assumptions and notes within the system.
- Ability to support capital project budgeting.
- Dashboard reports for summaries for executive or management review; also include field program directors.
- Ability to enable users to oversee and manage their own budget.
- Useful reporting tools to allow leadership to make effective and efficient decisions.
- Vendor support to users with ongoing training including video and tutorials.
- Browser based that can run on both Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari.
- Ability to schedule and customize reporting.
- Ability to record variances and notes for explanations.
- Ability to budget and report in multiple currencies.
- Ability to define pools to be allocated and allocation.
- Support multi-factor authentication methods.
- Ability to incorporate budgets in real time.
- Ability to cater to results budgeting.
- Ability to track project activity progress monthly.
