[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide consulting services for the public-private partnership (p3) project to redevelop the shopping center located on the southern border of the university’s campus to the government authority located in Little Rock, AR.
- Examining market conditions for land values in central Arkansas,
a. Focusing on residential, retail, and office uses that predominate within agency.
b. Including trends such as changes in rents, sale prices, vacancy, and the rate of absorption.
- Brokering discussions with the tenants currently leasing space on the site.
- Reviewing the RFP for the project and providing relevant suggestions.
- Assisting with the identification of, and communication with, developers that may be interested in bidding on the project.
- General counsel and advice during the project to ensure the best outcome possible for agency, its students and staff, and the surrounding community.
- Developing narratives to support engagement and negotiations with key stakeholders, and attending and participating in meetings with key stakeholders.
- Supporting agency in the negotiation of key business terms in its real estate transactions regarding this project.
- Assembling all documents related to the targeted property or project for agency to review, including environmental, zoning, land uses, wetlands surveys, restrictive covenants, access, water and sewer, storm water and other items necessary for agency to make an evaluation.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than January 26, 2022.
(3) Contract term will be one year.
