[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide classification and compensation consulting services to address changes in operations and staffing over the past decade, which may have affected the type, scope, and level of work being performed to the government authority located in Little Rock, AR.
- Attract and retain qualified employees.
- Ensure positions performing similar work with essentially the same level of complexity, responsibility, knowledge, skills, and abilities are classified together.
- Provide salaries commensurate with assigned duties.
- Clearly outline promotional opportunities and provide recognizable compensation growth.
- Provide justifiable pay differential between individual classes.
- Maintain a competitive position with other comparable government entities and private employers within the same geographic areas.
- Provide for a comprehensive evaluation of every position within agency, excluding those in faculty and RN positions, to determine relative worth within the organization for internal equity and for the establishment of pay ranges and step progressions within the ranges.
- Review all current job classifications, confirm, and recommend changes to hierarchical order of jobs using your evaluation system.
- Establish appropriate benchmarking standards and conduct salary surveys as needed for similar positions with comparable academic medical centres as required.
- Identify potential pay compression issues and provide potential solutions.
- Analyze and recommend changes to the present compensation structure to meet market analysis, including the establishment of salary bands and job grades. This recommendation may include recommendations for individual positions as well.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 21, 2020.
(3) A letter of intent and written questions will be due on April 7, 2020.
(4) Contract term will be one year.
