[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide student loan default management system for lowering and managing student loan cohort default rates as well as providing student’s information on financial literacy.
- Contact student loan borrowers by all necessary means (phone, email, letter) to initiate a conversation about their delinquent loans
- Counsel with the student loan borrower about options for avoiding default and getting their loans in good status
- Provide the student loan borrower with contact information for their specific loans and conference in their servicer as appropriate
- Follow up with the student loan borrower to ensure the loan is in good status
- Provide reports with regard to outcome of contacts
- Contacting borrowers who are within their student loan grace period.
- Contacting borrowers who are more than ninety (90) days delinquent.
- Discuss your various methods of contact to reach delinquent borrowers, including telephone outreach, strategic written communication, email, interactive web-based tools and research, social media, multi-tiered skip tracing, and text messaging.

- Monthly and quarterly performance reports.
- Use of the national student loan data system.
- Assisting the institution in reviewing its current default prevention and management plan, and providing recommendations based on best practices in loan default.
- Providing enrolled students with an electronic financial education curriculum and assisting the institution in launching the product.
- Assisting the institution to develop a plan to have borrowers pay the college their past balance dues.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 28, 2019.
(3) Contract term will be one year.
