Vendor needs to provide bond underwriting services.– Ability to provide advice to the city on bond market conditions and timing of the sale of its bonds– Provide assistance to the city in determining the term and amortization schedule, call provisions, and other factors which are relevant to marketing the city’s bonds. this shall include preparation of aturity schedules and debt service projections which represent effective marketing structures forthe city’s bonds.– Ability to present and evaluate alternate financing means.– Ability to work with the city to obtain the best possible bond rating including attendance at any presentation to the rating agencies, as requested by the city.– Ability to prepare the preliminary official statement and the final official statement and other related documents.– Ability to determine the feasibility of bond insurance and to arrange for the selection of a bond insurance firm should insurance be desirable on a given issue.– Ability to evaluate and recommend for selection of trustee, paying agent, and/or registrar services, as necessary.– Ability to coordinate printing of the bonds with bond counsel.
