Vendor needs to provide prosecuting attorney services to the government authority located in Arkansas.– The selected attorney will serve in the capacity of part–time prosecutor, providing legal representation in the prosecution of criminal cases, preparing legal documents, conducting trials, and working in partnership with law enforcement agencies.– Case preparation and prosecution: Review evidence, prepare legal documents, draft indictments, and represent the state or jurisdiction in criminal cases.– Trial conduct: Represent the city in pre–trial hearings, motions, trials, and sentencing hearings. Present evidence, examine witnesses, and make legal arguments.– Case management: manage caseloads efficiently, prioritize cases, and coordinate with law enforcement and investigators.– Legal research and writing: Conduct legal research to stay current on relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedents.– Victim advocacy: Work with victims of crime, ensuring that their rights are protected and that they are kept informed of case developments. Collaboration with law enforcement: communicate regularly with law enforcement agencies, assist in investigations, and ensure proper handling of criminal cases.– Advisory role: Provide legal advice to local law enforcement agencies or other relevant authorities as necessary.
