PRE–SOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Officer (NCO) 16 intends to solicit and award a base plus four (4) option periods acquisition for fluid milk and dairy products to meet the nutritional needs of the inpatient population at Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System s CAVHS). The CAVHS Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) requires fluid milk and dairy products be delivered on site to support the meal service to the inpatient population. All products shall conform to the standards set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). These standards are available online at www.usda.gov. The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 311511, with a related small business size standard of 1,150 employees.
