(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Little Rock, AR.
- Highly qualified law firms or attorneys to ensure adequate coverage of legal matters that may arise.
- To ensure adequate coverage for legal matters that may arise, particularly in matters involving, but not limited to, environmental law, employment law, contract law, property law, procurement law and/or general litigation
- Providing general legal advice.
- Representing agency in litigation.
- Preparing, consulting on, and reviewing contracts, leases, easements, agreements, and the like, as needed.
- Working with agency Chief Legal Counsel, Chief Executive Officer, executive staff, agency governing body, as requested.
- Providing advice on personnel matters in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Vendor must adhere to required standards of professional conduct and ethics and in rendering sound legal advice with suitable objectivity and professional detachment.
- Vendor shall have an understanding of and experience dealing with the legal requirements of public entities such as the State, county, and other municipalities.
- Vendor shall perform legal research, prepare, and assist in the review of legal documents and provide legal advice for agency as needed.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than June 27, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for two years.
