(1) Vendor needs to provide architecture design and website redesign services. - Creative and project management services, design and production, editing text, mock‐ups for presentation, complete page layouts and typesetting. - Audiences ‐ Prospective students and their parents ‐ Internal audiences, including current students, faculty, staff, and FJSOAD affiliates ‐ Stakeholders including FJSOAD leadership, Professional Advisory Board, Donors ‐ Alumni ‐ Peer schools, including their deans and their faculty ‐ Research clients and partners ‐ Institutional partners ‐ Policymakers including mayors, other elected officials and civic leaders ‐ Influencers, including Design Intelligence ‐ Media, including Architectural Record, Architecture Review, ArchDaily, BldgBlog, Dezeen, Design Boom, Archinect, Architizer, Domus, as well as more general media outlets including New York Times, Fast Company ‐ Presses including Princeton Architectural Press, MIT Press, Yale University Press ‐ Prospective donors ‐ School overseers and university trustees ‐ Other schools and centers within the University - Website 1. Meet (survey) with the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design and University of Arkansas constituencies to confirm goals and outcomes for the website redesign including: a. dynamic, impactful, concise, with an elegant yet memorable and engaging design b. clear and compelling brand that unifies agency programs c. ease of navigation for all users d. flexibility and ease of use and maintenance by agency /University staff e. increased awareness of agency as a top tier design school f. promotion of student/faculty/alumni work g. promotion of agency scholarly and research interests, civic and social engagement, and professional vitality - The website redesign must include the following: a. Visual redesign of the interface for the site and identity b. Creation of a conceptual design strategy that establishes the design for current and future design elements. c. Work with the University of Arkansas' content management system d. Creation of a site map or other information document e. Information architecture including but not limited to: faculty + staff directory, internal departments, gallery for student/faculty/alumni work, press / news / blog, social media sharing - The following outcomes are desired from a successful website redesign a. Increased identity and exposure of the agency and its initiatives b. Increased enrollment that results from website engagement c. Increased traffic, extended interaction with site content, and repeat visitors (2) All question must be submitted no later than June 5, 2023.
