[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide homebuyer education services including addressing factors that contribute to housing instability to the government authority located in Hot Springs, AR.
- The classes are for low- to moderate-income homeowners including those on the City's hosing rehabilitation waiting list, referrals from local non-profits, and other residents in need of homeownership and home retention strategies.
1. Avoiding predatory lending, common credit problems, delinquency, and foreclosure
2. Creating and maintaining a realistic budget
3. Preventative maintenance procedures
4. Energy efficiency and strategies to reduce monthly expenses
5. Resources for home repairs and improvements such as home equity loans and refinancing options
6. Understanding property taxes and insurance
- Monthly activity and progress reports to designated city staff including, but not limited to the number, size, income level, race, ethnicity, female head of household and veteran status of households served by each offering during the previous month
- Monthly invoices and back-up materials
- Quarterly accomplishment reports
- Maintain all records and files.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than April 5, 2022
