[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide web conferencing system
- to procure and implement a web conferencing solution consistently available and supports all faculty, students, and staff. This solution will primarily support the academic needs of the institution but will also be utilized for administrative and other functional purposes,
- the solution must integrate with our existing networking, hardware, and software infrastructure
- Must Provide an easy-to-use interface for all clients.
- Must Provide audio communication and the ability for attendees to connect with desktop and mobile devices via web or app and the ability for telephone users to participate.
- Must Provide video communication and the ability for attendees to connect with desktop and mobile devices via web or app.
- Must Provide the ability to provide simultaneous video stream and desktop or application sharing to the current presenter.
- Must Provide the ability for the host to grant screen sharing permission to attendees.
- Must Provide the ability for the host to provide downloadable files and grant permission to attendees to do the same.
- Must Provide text-based chat and the ability for participants to post questions or comments.
- Must Provide breakout capability. Allow the host to split the session into different groups and move among those groups. The same video and screen-sharing options exist within breakout sessions.
- Must Provide the ability to highlight and mark items on presentation and blank whiteboard.
- Must Provide the ability to poll attendees or provide multiple choice questions and gather real-time answers. Multiple choice should permit single answer restrictions or multiple response options.
- Must Provide a minimum of three hundred (300) attendee capacity for regular sessions.
- Must Provide larger capacity for webinar-style delivery, a minimum of five hundred (500).
- Must Provide capacity to integrate with Blackboard LMS hosted solution.
- Must Provide the ability to create cloud-based recordings with a shareable link that can be public or require credentials.
- Must Provide the option for dual-stream and dual-screen. The instructor can stream from two cameras, and desktop recipients can display the separate streams on two monitors. The secondary stream may be lower resolution.
- Must Provide scheduling and the ability to create repeating sessions and designate sessions to be recorded.
- Must Provide permanent links for standing meeting rooms.
- Must Provide participants with the option to join before the session start, and participants may be invited during the session
- Must Provide reporting
- Must Provide role-based access control
- Must Provide compatibility with Mac, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android
- Must Provide compatibility with current versions of Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome web browsers.
- Must Provide Single Sign-on (SSO) based on SAML 2.0 via Microsoft Active Directory, Shibboleth, or CAS.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than December 14, 2021.
