Vendor needs to provide scholarship management software
A. Administration
1.Ability to create scholarship opportunities with selection criteria based on information feeding in from Banner, with preferred additional ability to include third party scholarships that software provider vets.
2.Ability to load scores and other scholarship award results into Banner
3.Ability to assign qualified applications to review groups or departments for rating using an office set rubric
4.Ability to customize scoring rubric for various reviewing groups/departments
5.Ability for each department or college to have their own application for students majoring in their area(s)
6.Ability to assign various scholarship opportunities to the same application
7.Ability for reviewers to review/score a student’s application just once even if the student may match with multiple opportunities tied to the same application.
8.Solution offers customizability or adaptability for changing future needs
9.Solution is capable of being extended to serve multiple departments and colleges across campus
10. Solution must service prospective incoming undergraduate and graduate level students of all kinds
11. Ability to add/modify funds, users, reviewers, committees, etc.
12. Ability to run reports on administrators, usage, funds, awarding
13. Ability to set donor information for thank-you letters required
14. Ability to create communication flows to students, administrators and donors
15. Ability to manage donors and donor communication
16. Ability for donors to access the system
17. Ability to communicate with students via text message

3.Ability to track scores, make notes, rank applicants
4.Ability for outside partners to participate in review and scoring
E. Applicant awarding and notification
1.Ability to input funds into the system with criteria and dollar amounts
2.Ability to set criteria to match students with scholarships
3.Ability to award between two aid years (current and future for recruitment awards)
4.Ability to load award data into Banner
5.Ability to award on a per-semester basis and/or an annual basis
6.Ability to create terms and conditions the student must agree to before awarding into Banner
7.Ability to collect required thank-you letters
8.Ability to modify awards
9.Ability to see all awards offered to an applicant
10. Ability to flag an applicant for review of federal aid
11. Ability to send communication via text and email to students around starting, completing, accepting and declining awards
12. Ability to customize communication pieces for the various offer, acceptance, and award stages
