[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide recordkeeping, fiduciary services, wide range of investment options, participant education/communication and plan administrative services for the City of Fort Smith’s non-uniform employee retirement plans [401(a) and 457(b)] to the government authority located in Fort Smith, AR.
- The City is conducting this solicitation to review the 401(a) and 457 plan market’s current best practices regarding recordkeeping, plan sponsor/participant services, employee education, and fees. In preparing for the solicitation process, the City Human Resources Department has spent significant time reviewing, discussing, and analyzing the overall goals, objectives, and outcomes of this non-uniform employee retirement services solicitation process.
- They have identified five (5) key areas of emphasis which include, but are not limited to (in no particular order):
• Fiduciary/recordkeeping services
• Wide range of investment options
• Access to participant education and effective communication with participants/City
• Overall retirement plan administrative services
• Reduce participant and plan expenses
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
