[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide tribal communication science project to the government authority located in Arkansas.
● Compile an outreach coordination list of key decision makers in rural and Tribal councils, Alaska Native associations and corporations and key events that represent coastal Alaskan communities.
● This will include identification of current local points of contact, including but not limited to Tribal Coordinators and Tribal Elders, and appropriate channels of communication with each organization to inform multiple modes of information delivery. The contractor will conduct activities under the guidance of the communication program lead.
● Help refine and implement the community communication plan by identifying appropriate levels of engagement with representatives of coastal Alaska communities. The contractor will be responsible for communicating research priorities and operations that may be of interest or directly affect native entities.
● The contractor will also identify rural community activities (subsistence, cultural, commercial) that may be affected by or affect research operations. The contractor is required to work in close coordination with the communications program, developing high quality communications strategies in a cooperative manner.
● Assist with the development of research priorities within a co-production of knowledge framework where scientific questions are prioritized, tested, and documented that benefit both the mission of agency and the needs of a native entity. The contractor will assist with identifying research needs as well as data collection associated with the research.
