Government Authority located in Little Rock, Arkansas; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for classification and compensation study.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide classification and compensation study for all employees excluding teaching positions to the government authority located in Little Rock, AR.
- Classification:
- Analyze and review all positions and determine where possible classification problems exist. Allocate positions into a more streamlined classification structure according to difficulty and level of responsibility using a factor evaluation or other acceptable quantitative evaluation method, which would assure internal equity and external competitiveness,
- Develop detailed definitions for each classification,
- Develop salary recommendations for each job classification identified in the classification study,
- Evaluate the existing reclassification process and provide recommendations for improvement modifications whenever possible including development of a reclassification appeals process,
- Compensation:
- Analyze, review, and make recommendations on the methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure the establishment and maintenance of an effective and legally defensible compensation plan,
- Assessment of the existing job evaluation and compensation plan, pay policies, practices and provision of improved alternatives wherever possible,
- Recommend specific methodologies and approaches to ensure the maintenance of a compensation system based on internal equity and competitive with the labor market,
- Develop policies and procedures, as well as a proposed training program to ensure that the district can implement, administer, and maintain the recommended compensation plan,
- Deliverables/Implementation:
- Prepare and submit a final report, which describes the classification and compensation plan and recommended implementation procedures along with the procedures for the continuing maintenance and administration of the plan,
- Recommend transition management strategies for responding to and reducing resistance to change, and utilizing appropriate transition management strategies in response to change issues that arise during implementation,
- Provide inequity resolution on a case-by-case basis to aid in resolving any inequities that may arise as a result of the implementation of the classification and compensation plans,
- Assist with the development of a multi-media communication strategy to communicate the process and progress of the study to district leadership and staff.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 7, 2020.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
