Government authority located in Glendale, Arizona; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for compensation, benefits and job description consultant service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide compensation, benefits and job description consultant service to the government authority located in Glendale, AZ.
- Job Descriptions and Compensation:
1. Perform a review and evaluation of current job descriptions for the Administrative, Classified, and Certified employee groups utilizing tools such as employee job surveys, employee interviews, and/or other market-available tools that aid in the evaluation ofjob descriptions.
2. Determine, through the evaluation process, the essential competencies for each position and ensure the updated written job descriptions are in line with these essential competencies.
3. Evaluate if current Board Approved Supplemental Stipend Activities (Extra Duty Assignments) are inherently included in existing Job Descriptions.
4. Determine Stipend Activities that could easily be included in a specific existing Job Description (i.e., an existing Job Description closely corresponds to a specific Stipend Activity) and provide recommendations regarding these findings.
5. Compare actual duties and responsibilities to job descriptions. Determine key discrepancies between individual employee's actual duties and responsibilities and the job description they are currently categorized under.
6. Quantify the percentage (%) change between the existing job descriptions and actual duties and responsibilities and identify outliers of greater than twenty percent (20%) variation between job descriptions and actual duties and responsibilities. Compile and report these job description discrepancies to the District to prioritize for review for possible reclassification along with any recommended position/salary reclassifications for existing job descriptions.
7. Evaluate whether job descriptions/positions are properly classified in exempt or non-exempt categories, per Federal Regulations, and provide recommendations for category changes for specific positions.
- Benefits as a Component of Compensation: Complete a benefits analysis of similar entities to include an analysis of employer provided benefits, voluntary coverage options and employee and employer paid costs including dependent coverage. An outcome of the analysis will be recommendations for benefit offering modifications and associated employer and employee costs changes to enhance benefits as a component of compensation.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
